Rideshare and Delivery Driver: Mileage and Toll Log
Drivers are usually self-employed, so records are everything. Mileage and tolls may be deductible business costs if you can show them. Use this log, or an app that saves the same details.

Keep in Mind
- • Write the log at the time, not at year-end. Keep a screenshot of your app mileage if you use one.
- • Miles between home and your first stop are usually not deductible. Ask us how your trips are treated.
- • All income is taxable even if you do not receive a 1099. Keep your own records.
- • Mileage rates change each year. We will use the current IRS rate or your actual costs, whichever you can support.
